The accidents continue as the hapless pair is mistaken for private investigators by a young woman (Morgan Fairchild) who is searching for her missing sister. Will and J.D. need the work, so they take her up on it, regardless of the fact that they know next to nothing about hunting down missing, would-be country singers. The case takes Will and J.D. through Nashville's country music scene, brushing shoulders with a great assortment of C&W talent, such as Barbara Mandrell, Roy Acuff, and Ray Stevens.
